Director's Profile
Founder & Director, Xcel AI Academy | Hyderabad, India
Dr. Srinivasa Reddy Kommareddy is the Founder and Director of Xcel AI Academy, based in Hyderabad, India. With over 20 years of teaching, 3 years of research, and 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science and AI/ML, he brings a unique blend of academic depth and industry relevance to the AI learning ecosystem.
He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has previously worked as a Data Scientist and as a Professor. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Robotics and AI, and the application of AIML in Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Reddy has contributed to the design and development of advanced mechanical components such as coal pulverizers and centrifugal air compressors at BHEL R&D, Hyderabad. He has published 25 international journal papers, holds one patent, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India). He is also a Certified Data Science Domain Specialist.
At Xcel AI Academy, Dr. Reddy is committed to training future-ready AIML professionals, developing real-world AI applications, and fostering innovation through capstone projects and hackathon-based learning.
